Leading & Coaching Employees
The leader’s role as coach is central to performance management. By creating the appropriate climate, environment, and context to empower individuals and teams, great coaches are able to achieve extraordinary results from their employees. The Missouri Training Institute will deliver this professional development workshop, which examines the leadership role of coach and provides many tools and techniques to influence your employees’ behavior on the job.
What You Will Learn:
- Identify key behaviors needed to establish your role as a leader and coach.
- Examine coaching strategies based on your employees’ abilities and willingness to do the job.
- Discuss a model for effective delegation.
- Explore how to provide appropriate performance feedback.
- Examine the practice of accountability and the difficult conversations coaches must sometimes have with their employees.

Workshop is limited to 30 participants. Priority will be given to those agencies who responded to the email regarding an additional session by October 2nd. Please limit registrations to the number you submitted or a maximum of 5. Any registrations over 5 per agency will be placed on a waiting list to allow for attendance from all agencies who expressed interest.
Lunch will be provided to all workshop attendees.
