Title:  Strategic Communication Training

Summary/Description:

This training is a two-day comprehensive program designed to help the Missouri Community Action Network’s agencies improve strategic communications.  Day one will start with a workshop format to create an agency strategic communication plan.  This day will be facilitated by Dan Prather, Director of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at Drury University with the help of Missouri CAN staff.  Day two will include the Rebecca Gordon Group teaching best practices in website communications; a social media session on ways to enhance your communications; a media relations session with Daryl Duwe; and a print media session with Missouri CAN’s Kerri Voyles wrapping up the day.  

Facilitators:  Dan Prather (Drury University), Kerri Voyles (Missouri CAN), and Jessica Long (Missouri Can)

Date & Time:  August 2nd from 10 am to 4:30 pm and August 3rd from 8:30 am to 3 pm.

Additional Info:  Lunch will be provided on both days.  Initial registration is limited to 2 people from each of the 19 Missouri CAAs.
