Title:  Developing a Community Action Plan

Summary/Description:

Missouri CAN is hosting a training on developing a Community Action Plan.  This will include the connection with the agency’s community needs assessment and strategic plan, specifically organizing needs assessment data and tying together outcomes, strategies, and action plans.  An overview of ROMA Next Generation and Collective Impact will be given in relation to the impending national initiatives.  The Family Support Division has also recently updated the Community Action Plan Implementation Worksheet, which will be reviewed and utilized during the training.

Date & Time:  July 27, 2016  -  10:00am – 4:30pm

Location:    Missouri Parks & Rec Association (next door to the Missouri CAN office)

Lunch is included.  Initial registration is limited to 2 people from each of the 19 Missouri CAAs.   Training is provided in partnership with the Missouri DSS Family Support Division - Community Support Unit, Community Action Partnership, and Missouri CAN.

Fees:  NONE -- This free training is limited to Missouri Community Action Agency staff.

This project is funded with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.

Cancellation policy:  Please cancel no later than July 25th to allow time to add people that may be on the waiting list.  Substitutions for staff from the same agency may be made at any time up to the start of the training.
