Title: Community Needs Assessment Workshop

Summary/Description: This is a two-day workshop event in which agency teams of participants will not only learn the best practices of the Community Needs Assessment, but have work sessions to compile results, analyze data, and determine questions to explore with remaining qualitative research back at the agency. In addition, communication of the Community Needs Assessment will be discussed. Each agency will need to bring their quantitative data (from community commons or other data sources) and any client survey or focus group results that have been collected by the time of the training.

Additional Info: Agencies need to bring teams of 3-4, including a combination of the following: CSBG Program Manager, ROMA Trainer or Implementer, Executive Director, and either a front-line staff or other critical agency program manager. If overflow occurs, agencies may be asked to wait-list participants through individual follow-up. | Breakfast and lunch will be provided on day 2 only. | A block of sleeping rooms are available for a rate of $91 per night at the expense of the agency. Cancellation policy: Please cancel no later than March 6th to allow time to add people that may be on the waiting list. Substitutions for staff from the same agency may be made at any time up to the start of the training. If 30 or less are registered, the training will be moved to the Missouri CAN office or cancelled.
