Missouri CAN wants to help you get a start on the Community Needs Assessment!  We will be kicking off our series of supportive trainings, work groups, and resource-sharing with a one-day session Wednesday, October 9 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Missouri CAN office in Jefferson City.

Please note this session is limited to TWO individuals per agency.  You should plan to send only those two staff members most responsible for leading the charge and guiding the full scope of this process at your agency.  As this is the first in a series, there will be opportunities for larger and more targeted participation throughout the fiscal year.  However, the first meeting will be highly involved, and your full and earnest participation will help dictate the flow of this process moving forward.

Items of discussion will include:

• the importance of the CNA proces

• developing comprehensive inquiries

• locating and utilizing available tools

• analyzing and presenting data

• and more!

Please plan to bring copies of past survey tools, previous agency CNAs, and your inquisitive and eager minds!  Lunch will be provided.
