This presentation will provide a brief overview of the Trauma Smart program and how it is implemented within Head Start programs, early childhood centers, elementary, middle, and high schools.  We will then learn/review why the word "trauma" has become such a big conversation in our communities and how it is impacting those we serve.  We will end the presentation with ideas on how your agency can begin its own trauma-informed journey.
