This presentation will provide a brief overview of the Trauma Smart program and how it is implemented within Head Start programs, early childhood centers, elementary, middle, and high schools.  We will then use the Missouri Trauma-Informed Continuum, SAMHSA's Principles of Trauma-Informed Care, and Trauma Smart content to discuss the need for a philosophical shift across agencies and schools, beginning with network leaders.
