The Missouri Association for Community Action is pleased to offer Poverty Simulation Facilitator Training. This training is highly recommended for organizations using the Community Action Poverty Simulation kit.

The facilitator training will allow participants to become familiar with the components of the CAPS kit, the facilitation process and tips for conducting an efficient and effective simulation. Participants will also experience the poverty simulation on the first day of training. This will help your organization effectively utilize the simulation to educate your community about poverty.

A block of rooms has been reserved for the nights of November 15th, 16th and 17th. To make sleeping room reservations please book on-line at https://goo.gl/r2ksFA. The hotel offers complimentary shuttle service to and from Lambert International Airport from 6 am till 10 pm, a complimentary full breakfast for all registered guests, complimentary parking for training participants, and over fifty restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The cost of the sleeping room is $125.00 plus tax. The deadline for reservations at the hotel is October 23, 2015.

Registration includes training and all materials, and lunch on the second day. Breakfast is complimentary with hotel reservations. Early bird rate by October 16th -- $345; rate after October 16th -- $395. Check made payable to MACA. There is no cost for the training if you are employed with a Missouri Community Action Agency if you register by October 16th; MO CAA rate after October 16th- $50. Please complete the registration form and return it to the MACA office with payment no later than October 30, 2015.

All cancellations must be in writing and there will be a $50 cancellation fee for ALL registrations cancelled after October 30, 2015, but will not apply if there is a substitution.
