About the Experience

Missouri CAN’s Stress, Compassion Fatigue, & Self-Care Training

Objective: The primary goal of this training is to equip staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize, prevent, and cope with stress, compassion fatigue and burnout. Participants will also learn how to develop personalized self- care plans to enhance their well-being and resilience in demanding social service environments.

• Self-Care Techniques
• Creating Personalized Care Plans
• Effective Communication
• Practical Application

By the end of this training, participants will have gained the knowledge and skills necessary to not only recognize and address compassion fatigue and burnout but also to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote their well-being and resilience in their caregiving roles. This training aims to create a culture of compassion and support within social service teams, ultimately leading to improved consumer care and job satisfaction.

This training is provided at no cost thanks to our funders. This project/program is funded at 100% at $648.64 with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.
