Description

About the Experience

Missouri CAN’s Performance Evaluation & Employee Development Training

The history of the Community Action movement was built on the development of the individual. The things we hope for the people that we serve begin with us, inside of our own agencies. Beginning with the concepts of trust and optimism, we can ensure we are serving one another along with our communities. This one-day training is designed to assist agency supervisors in furthering skills related to staff development and evaluation, with a particular focus on strategies that can be implemented continuously.  Learning objectives include: Understanding the role the supervisor plays in the success of an employee beginning from hire, exploring the necessity of relationship building and clear communication in the supervisor/employee partnership, and developing a framework for addressing necessary areas of improvement for both the employee and supervisor.
